Aside from his solo work, he was known for his recordings with drummers Billy Cobham and Jack DeJohnette, the bands Dreams and The Brecker Brothers—both with Michael and Randy Brecker—and many other outstanding musicians in the history of jazz. Abercrombie recorded primarily for Manfred Eicher’s ECM label.
He also explored the realms of jazz fusion and post bop.

It has incredible uniformity along the entire neck, just like a piano.
Despite its size, it has a big, woody tone. I recommend it
